Building and Grounds Supervisor

We are now looking for a new Building and Grounds Supervisor to be part of our small, close-knit team.

This is a full time position with hours varying depending on what functions and events are happening each week, and hours will cover weekends.

Job description:

  • Keeping up our very high standard of maintenance throughout the house and grounds, such as cleaning gutters, cutting grass -
    must have basic DIY knowledge
  • Responsible for preparing the function rooms for events, i.e. setting up tables and chairs and clearing away after night functions

The successful applicant will need to be on call in case of emergencies during events and would live on site in our newly refurbished, on-site accomodation with one bedroom, bathroom, open plan kitchen diner and log burner that is included at a reduced rate. 


House Keeper

We are now looking for a new House Keeper to be part of our small, close-knit team.

This is a full time position with hours varying depending on what functions and events are happening each week, and hours will cover weekends.

Job description:

  • Cleaning bedrooms
  • Laundry
  • Ironing
  • Helping to serve meals
  • Helping with the bar during functions
  • Must be prepared to help out wherever needed

Garthmyl Hall is a high-end, luxury establishement and we expect the highest standards in cleanliness and hygiene. The successful applicant must also speak good English and be friendly, confident and use their own initiative.

The roles of House keeper and Caretaker would ideally suit a couple (all though not essential) as we have newly refurbished, on-site accomodation with one bedroom, bathroom, open plan kitchen diner and log burner that is included at a reduced rate.
