In May 2019 we launched our newly renovated Victorian stable block and dog kennels which we have been working hard to turn into self-accommodating luxury holiday cottages. Being situated on site at Garthmyl Hall they are perfect as additional accommodation for your wedding and party guests, taking the total now accommodated on site to 45! However if you don’t wish to take them that’s also fine, when you book your wedding here at the Hall you are only committed to the 10 bedrooms inside the Hall itself.
If you do not reserve or book The Stables for your wedding period there is a slight chance that they may be booked out as self-catering cottages to holiday makers. However anyone staying not in conjunction with a wedding will have strict guidelines not to wander around the gardens and Hall during a wedding. We have strived to keep key features of the old buildings whilst incorporating luxurious and practical interiors. All of the properties have access to a beautiful cobbled courtyard and small private patio areas where you can enjoy the sunshine.
The Old Dairy is the largest of the cottages with five bedrooms and sleeps 10 people, we also have a sofa bed in the main living area. The lounge and kitchen is open plan and this property has a hint of French country style interiors.
The Clock Tower comprises of four bedrooms sleeping 8 people, we also have a sofa bed in the living space available. One of the bedrooms is situated over the old bell tower and one double downstairs has full disabled access. The Clock Tower interiors are more modern, lots of plush velvets and deep colours yet very spacious.
Ty Bach One and Two are smaller self-contained units built inside the old dog kennels, sleeping two guests each with a double bed, small usable kitchenette and bathroom in each. Although smaller than the others style has not been compromised and they are the perfect space for a short stay.
The Wain-House sleeps 2 as a self- catering apartment with a kitchenette, a double bed and ensuite perfect for a short break away
