Intimate Weddings at Garthmyl Hall

We’re currently living in an ever changing world and weddings are having to adapt to this daily, reduced number weddings have become the new normal in 2020 and we want to show you how they don’t need to mean boring!

Here at Garthmyl Hall we have plenty of spaces and different rooms for hosting your reduced number ceremony or intimate wedding breakfast, you have more choice and can think outside the box a little more. If you’re worried about large spaces looking vast why not have your intimate wedding ceremony in the summer house? Or dine outside under the tree if the weathers on your side? We’ve even licensed the cellar bar so you could say “I do” down there? The possibilities can be endless.

If you’re worried about the timings of the day being too set apart now why not amend your intimate wedding ceremony to a little later in the day, take your time to get ready and enjoy the morning prep with your family, get married after lunch and sit down for more of an evening meal. This can reduce the gap where evening guests would have arrived and can make the day seem less spaced out.

We do understand that it might not be what you thought your wedding would look like, but you don’t need to compromise on style. The money you saved on not feeding the 90 guests you could spend on extra flowers, a wedding decor stylist to help make the space look breath taking or an upgraded menu. You can still have the drinks reception you wanted after your intimate wedding ceremony, why not serve your favourite cocktails instead of prosecco or a prosecco tower outside?

We’re so happy to see different locations used throughout the gardens, the ceremony in front of the gate is such a great idea and the intimate wedding breakfast under the tree is just beautiful.
