Christmas Engagement?
Apparently the top three days to get engaged are Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. So if this is you... CONGRATULATIONS!! You have hopefully now had a few days to get over the initial shock, and can stop staring at the bling on your finger, so what do you do now?
We understand that planning a wedding is both incredibly exciting and daunting at the same time, so we are on hand to help with any questions you may have and advise you where necessary.
Type of wedding
The first step would be to decide what type of wedding you want. At Garthmyl Hall you have exclusive use of the Hall and Grounds for two days and two nights and can use whatever suppliers you want, making it truly unique to you! You will not feel rushed, have to be out early or compromise on any aspect. If this is the kind of wedding you have envisioned then this is THE PERFECT place for you!
But don't just take our word for it! We have our next open day on Sunday 25th February, where you can explore the Hall and Grounds including our stunning Walled Garden and meet with a selection of hand-picked, luxury suppliers!
Budget
Getting together with your family and deciding on a budget is one of the first things you will need to do as it impacts on most other future decisions.
We are very transparent with our pricing and are on hand to suggest fantastic suppliers that suit your budget perfectly.
Time of year
Deciding on what time of year you want to say 'I do' is not one to be taken lightly. Peak Summer weddings will cost more due to the demand, with suppliers getting booked up early. Off-peak weddings will cost less but you may need to compromise on the weather! At Garthmyl Hall we don't want you to have to compromise on anything! We pride ourselves on making sure that every single wedding is the best it possibly can be regardless of what time of year it is held.
If your dream is to have an outdoor Summer wedding, we have the most stunning Walled Garden where we have held many al fresco ceremonies, the kind that dreams are made of. But we also have a number of beautiful indoor ceremony locations that are perfect for Winter weddings, including our rustic Summer House that is like a Spanish orangery in the Summer, but is even more breathtaking at night when showered with fairy lights and bathed in candle light - the perfect magical Winter wedding location!! We also have our main Ballroom and Marquee to ensure your indoor ceremony is as simply stunning!
