The Hall - Exclusive Country House Wedding Venue, Powys, Mid Wales

The grade two listed Georgian country house wedding venue Garthmyl Hall was originally built in 1859 by architect James K Colling for Major-General Gold.

The hall was bought in October 2015 by the Pugh family and went under extensive restoration throughout the exclusive hire venue and 5 acre grounds to transform it into an exclusive hire wedding venue. The hall is also available for hire for other events and for country house breaks. The hall was offically opened in April 2016 and we have finished our first Summer of weddings.

We are taking bookings for 2017/2018 so if you would like a tour just get in touch!

The country house venue hosts accommodation to sleep up to 24 in 10 bespoke en suite bedrooms, a huge dining room, your own gentleman’s bar, grand yet cosy living room and the magnificent Ballroom with gilt celling’s and mirrors which can seat 60 for dinner or 85 for a ceremony, There is the option to have a marquee on the side of the Ballroom to add extra numbers, this can seat up to 150. Or alternatively you can have a marquee somewhere elsewhere within the grounds.
